The Ruth Circle Rummage Sale was a huge success. Blessings to the congregation and staff for your fabulous donations, help and cooperation. We raised a bundle (over $5000) for local missions, such as Coalition for the Homeless, Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, South Street Ministries. Thank you everyone!

Parking Ministry
The first impression members and visitors have of our church is in the parking lot! We have a vibrant, proactive, enthusiastic and welcoming team of volunteers manning the lot each Sunday. Did you know there are over 300 other spaces to park close to our church? Check out the map for alternative parking.
Elevate: Middle School Retreat
Last week, our middle schoolers enjoyed a beautiful day at Wekiva Springs and explored God’s creation on the Middle School Retreat for 2015. A team of parents also came along and everyone swam, hiked and relaxed. The Middle School Retreat serves as an opportunity for our students to develop community while also taking a break from the daly routine.

Kinfolk: CO-WORKING/SHARED SPACE
Did you know our church has a co-working/shared space in the room above the parlor? The idea started with a dream a few years ago from a group of young adults in our church family.
Designed for those who work from home, remotely or freelance, or for students who might need a place to work/study.
A place within the church that fosters community during the longest period of one’s day – work!
Many proposals, fundraising and furniture-building ensued, until this past Monday when a celebration was held to commemorate the grand opening of our own Co-Working/Shared Space! We invite you to join our co-working community! To become a member, please contact:

M.A.P. Fall Startup Stats!
With school starting up, our M.A.P. (Mentoring for Academic Progress) program is in full swing. While continuing to focus on academic and life enrichment activities, our students are now being mentored in character development and leadership.
– We had our busiest summer with over 40 kids a week in each of our 5 summer camps.
– Our program began with a 48% increase in registrations, equaling 37 registered students.
– 7 teenagers from Reeves Terrace are taking a leadership role by being a part of our “Raising Leaders Initiative”.
– Over 80% of our adult volunteers returned this year to be a part of the M.A.P. team.
We’ve only just begun! Come join the team!

Highway 45 Bowling
We had 31 kids for our bowling outing at Aloma Bowl. After enjoying pizza in the Fellowship Hall, we headed to the lanes! Thank you to our chaperones and bus driver Ken Boyd and Drew Forness.
We are always welcoming more 4th and 5th graders for each Highway 45 event. Our church family has so many amazing youth we can’t wait to see it’s continued growth.
Welcome Blake Davidson!
This morning we welcome Blake Davidson, Executive Director of Agua Viva Serves in Los Chiles, Costa Rica. Agua Viva started as a dream of one our missioners, Rick Baldocchi. Through his efforts, our church began well projects to bring clean water to the people of Los Chiles.
When Blake felt called to move there in 2012, we saw our commitment and relationships in the area blossom. During the last year our church sent 5 teams (75 missioners). What started as a mission trip from this church 8 years ago has turned into a deep relationship serving over 5,000 people and producing 47 wells, 1 water system, 4 homes and a church.
