Our mission team went to the Sager Brown UMCOR Depot in Baldwin, LA and spent the last week packing health kits, school supplies and layette kits for babies. The supplies they assembled will go to Lebanon, helping those arriving from Syria in the refugee camps. Visit fumcwp.org to learn how you can donate directly to UMCOR and aid those in need.

FUMCH PICNIC UPDATE
Many thanks to our hard-working crew who cooked and served lunch at the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home. After cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for the crowd of more than 100, everyone had a chance to enjoy the water slides and a fantastic summer afternoon! What a great day at the Children’s Home!
Elevate: Night of Joy
Every year, Night of Joy gathers some of the biggest names in Christian music for an awesome time at the “Happiest Place on Earth”. Elevate took on Magic Kingdom and had a great time getting to know each other, eating turkey legs and listening to rocking, positive music focused on Christ. Our adult volunteers, who made the whole night possible, also had a great time. What we lost in sleep (we stayed out pretty late!), we gained in great memories.
