The Methodist School for Early Education is hosting its annual Fall Festival and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 19st. Bring your family for a day of fun! There will be bounce houses, carnival games, train rides, pony rides, face painting, the Bubble Bus, Kona Ice, and a silent auction with hundreds of amazing items. Our silent auction will take place from 10am-1:30pm.
Tickets for games and activities can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event. Chick-fil-A meals are available for pre-order as well.

The Fall Festival is MSEE’s primary fundraiser. All proceeds go directly to the school to enhance student programs, safety, and resources such as art supplies, math and reading curricula, teacher training, field trips, and playground equipment.
Cinnabar is a monthly film series designed around hospitality and curiosity. FILMS engage our full selves. They inspire, reveal, challenge, question, and enchant us. Cinnabar was born as a micro-ministry project of Kinfolk Young Adult Ministry and is still connected to our church in that way.
What do we do? Whenever we gather, the first thing we do is share food and drinks. Our host then offers an introduction and invitation to the film they chose and we watch together, whether under the stars or in front of a twenty-foot wall. Finally, we circle up to reflect together. Our one rule is we never say a film was good or bad; we just talk about the impressions it made on us.

David Witwer, Kinfolk Lay Leader, is excited to share If Beale Street Could Talk with Cinnabar and here’s why:
I first saw this film a few years ago, but I remember watching it like it was yesterday. It is poetic cinema through and through—evocative and lyrical and vibrant. It’s an important film for the ways it features and celebrates Black characters and stories. But its particularity is also transcendent as it dances between the realms of ordinary and extraordinary, even sacred. And it’s a pretty stunning journey into the paradox of the immense beauty and immense tragedy in our world.
Note: This film is intended for adults and contains scenes of sexuality, racially-motivated violence, and explicit language.We’re once again at Ligature Coffee, which is a brown building with our new signs out front!

On the weekends, we will have fun activities, baked goods for sale, a bounce house for all ages, and photo opportunities for the whole family! We are pet friendly and encourage the community to come experience the cutest patch in town.
We accept cash, credit, debit, and apple pay. Our pumpkins start at $1 – wee ones for the littles and large ones for those who are up for a challenge. Don’t forget to share your carving pictures on social @fumcwp & @tcapreschool!

Join us in celebrating the transformation of our Inua youth! This ministry works to expand the opportunities for vulnerable youth in Naivasha, Kenya, to overcome poverty, insecurity, malnutrition, and illness to achieve long-term sustainability…and a life filled with hope.
On October 9, both worship services will be dedicated to this vital ministry with fun, family-friendly activities in between.

This annual conference is designed as a cluster of eight churches in the East Central District that gather to recommend candidates for leadership positions, establish salaries for the pastors, and report on the ministry of the church. There is no registration for this conference.
Please note that only present professing members will be able to vote according to the Book of Discipline.
Families with little ones (birth-5yrs) are invited to join us for a Preschool Playdate on September 10th from 9-11am! We will gather in the gym for breakfast, inflatables, and games. This will be an informal time of play and connection with other families.
Parents are encouraged to stay for this event to join in on the fun. Please bring a breakfast item or drinks to share. Cost is $5 per family to cover some of the cost of our inflatables.
Elevate Kick-off (EKO) is on July 31st! Join us for a day of worship, games, dinner, and community!
Following the traditional service, we will meet at the church for lunch at 12:00pm. Students are required to bring their own meal or eat before they come. We will leave from the church at 12:30pm to head to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
We will be at Andretti’s from 1:00-6:00. During our time at Andretti’s, we will get an hour of bowling, laser tag, time at the track, and unlimited arcade games.
At 6:00, we will head back to the church for dinner (Olive Garden), worship, and a lesson. This will also be when we unveil our rebrand with our new logo. As part of our rebrand, we will sell shirts at EKO with our new logo. Your student can bring money to cover the cost of the shirt.
The cost is $40 and covers dinner as well as unlimited arcade play, one kart race, laser tag, and bowling at Andretti’s. There is a non-refundable $20 deposit needed. The deadline to sign up is July 24th.
