Reeves Center June 2021 Update

Welcome Kalli Turner, the new Program Coordinator of the 4 Pillars Counseling and Enrichment Center! She has been busy meeting lay leaders, ministry leaders, and staff in her short time with us. She will be the connection between the 4 Pillars Center, the church, and the ColonialTown North Community.  If you would like to welcome Kalli, please email her at kallit@fumcwp.org.

The search continues for Licensed Mental Health therapists who want to lease office space at the Center. We are looking forward to opening this new church ministry soon. Stay tuned for more details.

The Reeves Center roof is fixed! We are excited the repair has been completed, and the renovation of the 4 Pillars Counseling and Enrichment Center can be finished.

If you want more information about the ministries or want a tour of the Reeves Center, please email reevescenter@fumcwp.org or call 407-644-2906 ext. 281

Worship Staff Announcement

As you can imagine, the details and intricacies of staging worship at FUMCWP is a monumental task, with several moving parts and collaborative hands maneuvering in unison to produce the high quality, spiritually stirring experiences this congregation has come to expect. With the addition of our live stream, our reach is so much farther and the effort and team working to pull it all together is that much greater.

We are very grateful for every single person dedicated to enhancing our worship programs. We believe we have assembled a team of leaders to coordinate the effort, empowering the many lay members and volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to spreading the good news of Christ through this Church.

And while this approach is not new, some of the team members and their responsibilities are and we would like to take this time to recognize their outstanding contributions and formally announce their roles.

Our team fuses our musical and instrumental talents with technical production expertise to create spiritual experiences that change lives. This approach features the following worship operations staff:

  • Claud Smith, Worship Director
  • Dustin Efird, Production Designer
  • David Loomis, Multimedia Technician
  • Mary Ann Andrus, Administrative Coordinator
Features the musical talent and leadership staff:

  • Alex Glover, Traditional Worship Lead, Chancel Choir Director, and Impact Singers Program Coordinator
  • Chevalier Lovett, Contemporary Worship and Praise Band Lead
  • Mary Jane Nunley, Celebration Ringers, Grace Ladies, and Childrens’ Music Programs Coordinator
We’re still working out structural details but wanted to formally communicate this news as soon as possible. Please join us in thanking them for their leadership and supporting them with our prayers.
