Solidarity Labyrinth Walk

Apr. 27, 2024, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Colonialtown Square Park’s Public Labyrinth 820 N Fern Creek Ave Olando, FL

Our DEI Ministry invites you to join a Solidarity Labyrinth Walk to pray for and encourage LGBTQ Delegates and Methodists while General Conference is in session. We will write prayers, journal and reflect, and walk the labyrinth as a way to walk alongside and hold in prayer those whose future in the Methodist church is up for debate. Recognizing past and present harms, we nevertheless gather together to pray for healing, wholeness, and full inclusion in the future.

Join us at 10am on Saturday, April 27th at Colonialtown Square Park’s public labyrinth, which honors the 49 Pulse victims. DEI is pleased to offer this walk in collaboration with Rev. Peter Gaughan. In addition to shaping young imaginations, Peter is a graduate of Candler School of Theology and the Shalem Spiritual Guidance Program. He enjoys working as a Spiritual Director with small groups and individuals, creating space for deep listening and connection.

Free registration is requested, but walk ups are welcome. Colonialtown Square Park is located at 820 N Fern Creek Ave (6 blocks south of the Reeves Center). Street parking is available on Park Lake Street or Illinois Street. The labyrinth is accessible from Park Lake Street.
