Good Friday 2022

GOOD FRIDAY: April 15
7pm Traditional, Winter Park Campus, Sanctuary

Revisit that infamous day when Jesus was crucified as the Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra present “Last Words,” a music-driven service of worship for Good Friday. This new experience will challenge you to reconsider your response to God’s ultimate sacrifice.

Nursery available.

Holy Thursday 2022

MAUNDY (HOLY) THURSDAY: April 14
7pm Contemporary, Winter Park Campus, MFLC Gym

Maundy means “Mandate” and reflects the command that Jesus gave his disciples after he washed their feet, “Love one another just as I have loved you.” This gathering renews the importance of those words and draws us into what it truly means to follow Christ.

*Nursery available.

Palm Sunday 2022

April 10, Winter Park Campus
9:00am Contemporary | 11:00am Traditional

Join us as we commemorate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem when the crowds waved palm branches and proclaimed him King of Kings.  Learn why that is significant for us in 2022 and how we, too, can sing, “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

This service will be held in person and be available via live-stream here on our FUMCWP website.

Ash Wednesday Worship

Join us on Ash Wednesday as we kick-off the Lenten season! On Ash Wednesday we are offered the opportunity to receive a cross of ashes on our foreheads. We are reminded of the Biblical passage, “You are dust and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). In the Bible, the imposition of ashes is associated with sorrow over sins.

Our service will take place on March 2 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. This service will also be live-streamed here on our FUMCWP website.

Hannah’s Closet Children’s Consignment Sale

At each session, kids, called chefs, will gather in front of the “On a Roll” food truck, right in the middle of an amazing food truck party. Chefs will learn all about the Main Course/Theme Verse, Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread,” straight from the Lord’s Prayer and key learnings, called Daily Specials, that form this familiar mealtime prayer:
