Come meet someone new and find a way to get connected!

Preschool Playdate

Families with little ones (birth-5yrs) are invited to join us for a Preschool Playdate on September 9th from 9-11am! We will gather in the gym for breakfast, inflatables, and games. This will be an informal time of play and connection with other families. Parents should stay for this event to join in on the fun. Please bring a breakfast item or drinks to share. Cost is $5 per family to cover some of the cost of our inflatables.

Back to School Blessing

Join us in worship on Sunday, August 11 for a blessing for our community of students, teachers, parents, and administrators as they begin this new school year.

We hope you will join us in worship for this special blessing where kids will receive a backpack tag for the year. You are welcome to bring your backpack or school bag for the blessing.

Summer Campus Workday

Join us at our Winter Park Campus on July 22 for a workday as we repair, replace, and freshen up our playground and church buildings. On this day, we will have an assortment of jobs & tasks to be accomplished and we will need your help to make it happen. Below is a list of jobs we hope to complete. Please sign up for the project you wish to help with!

Projects Include:

Painting: We will be painting our MSEE playground equipment, campus gates, and building sections that have been damaged over time. For this project, we are asking the volunteers to bring paintbrushes, paint rollers, trays & drop cloths.

MSEE Playground Refurbishment: We will be emptying the sand in the MSEE sandbox, replacing the wood surrounding it, and refilling it with new sand. For this project, we will need shovels, drills, screwdriver bits, and wheelbarrows to carry the old sand down to the lakefront.  There are also boards on the playground equipment that needs to be replaced as well (treehouse and boat).

Pressure Washing: For this project, we are looking to pressure wash buildings, sidewalks, MSEE chairs. The church will provide the pressure washer to use.

Inside Cleaning: This is a low-impact project that will involve cleaning safety cones, inside tables, chairs & cabinets.

Items to Bring:

As mentioned above, there are several items we will need to make this day a success. Below is a list of items you can sign up to bring.

  • Paint Trays
  • Drop Cloths
  • Shovels

Pentecost Sunday

On Pentecost Sunday, we remember the day the disciples received the Holy Spirit in a special way. The story in Acts 2 describes a powerful wind and tongues of fire as the Holy Spirit was poured out on people from all over the world who came to Jerusalem to celebrate a Jewish feast. At the first Pentecost over 3000 people were baptized, creating the first church. This is why Pentecost is known as the birthday of the Christian church.

To celebrate this special Sunday, we encourage you to wear RED to worship on May 28!
