Service Projects

Scripture tells us that as we abide in Jesus, we will bear much fruit and that fruit will be seen in how we love one another. (John 15:12-17). We believe that Serving is a way of putting flesh on that love. Below are current Service Projects that we invite you to join in with us on.

We're Listening!

Tell us about your Advent Serve Day experience.
We want to hear about your encounter at our Advent Serve Day on December 11th. Please complete the 5 question survey below to provide your feedback. Our hope is to improve our efforts for future projects to come!

Pecans Are Here!

Support the Impact Singers’ Summer Sing and Serve choir tour and get some of your Christmas shopping out of the way.

Purchase our pecans in the courtyard each Sunday or in the office during the week. These make great gifts!

Literacy Night at Killarney Elementary

Join us on January 26 from 4:30-6:45pm to serve at Killarney’s “Under the Sea” Literacy Night!

We are looking for 5-6 volunteers to serve pizza, drinks and popcorn, and assist with reading activities.

If you are not currently an active volunteer with OCPS, a background check is required. Please sign up first as a Killarney volunteer. Then sign up as a Literacy night volunteer. The deadline to sign up is Jan. 20.

Day Center Service Opportunity

Family Promise Day Center houses families when they are not staying in churches through the Congregational Shelter Program.

They need your support to provide them with warm meals, healthy conversation during the evenings, and overnight hosting. If you are unable to serve in person, consider donating $50 to cover the cost of an overnight host.  Learn more & sign up at the link below.
