Serving With Dignity
Rooted in true stories, best practices, and biblical principles, Serving with Dignity equips participants to develop a posture for serving their community. While many great resources such as When Helping Hurts and Toxic Charity have revealed that the gap in our service is relationships, Serving with Dignity defines what this biblical relationship looks like – dignified and interdependent.
Through seven paradigm shifts, participants learn how to serve others in a way that honors God, preserves the dignity of all, and builds authentic and healthy relationships.
Throughout the course, participants will understand and gain practical steps for:
- serving across differences,
- asset-based ministry,
- community development, and
- building healthy relationships in the context of serving.
