Service Projects

Scripture tells us that as we abide in Jesus, we will bear much fruit and that fruit will be seen in how we love one another. (John 15:12-17). We believe that Serving is a way of putting flesh on that love. Below are current Service Projects that we invite you to join in with us on.

Make Space for Something New

It’s a busy season for all of us…not usually a season we think about making space in our lives. But let’s try it this year. Let’s take a cue from Hebrews 10:24 and stir up one another to love and good works.  Ask God how to use your time, talents, gifts and prayers. Prayerfully consider making space this year, maybe even in a way that moves you out of your comfort zone or leaves you feeling unsure.  Don’t worry, we’ll sit with you there.

Join our church family for one or more of the coordinated opportunities below or select your own way to make space this Advent. Click on the registration like for more information.

Every year, volunteers provide breakfast as a way of saying thank you to the musicians and vocalists who led at Festival Gloria. Please consider donating food or serving your time during the event.

Pecans Are Here!

Support the Impact Singers Rise, Together Initiative Fundraiser and get some of your Christmas shopping out of the way – look for our students selling pecans in the Courtyard and outside the Matthias Family Life Center during the holiday season. Pecans are also available through the church office during the week.

These make great gifts! Contact: Mary Ann Andrus at 407 644-2906 or maryanna@fumcwp.org
