Cinnabar is a monthly film series designed around hospitality and curiosity. Films engage our full selves. They inspire, reveal, challenge, question, and enchant us. Our church’s Kinfolk young adult ministry sponsors Cinnabar as a form of spiritual creativity in our Orlando community.

I chose Kajillionaire because it makes me laugh, scratch my head, and practice empathy in new ways every time I watch it. It takes a deep plunge into family dynamics, death and rebirth, and the search for connection—all while delighting the senses with beautiful shots, humor, absurdity, and a hefty dose of petty crimes. Above all, I love the way this film explores how intimacy forms and transforms us. I can’t wait to discuss it with you all!
