Join us on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18, as we begin the Lenten season. On Ash Wednesday we are offered the opportunity to receive a cross of ashes on our foreheads. We are reminded of the Biblical passage, “You are dust and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). In the Bible, the imposition of ashes is associated with sorrow over sins.

Our Ash Wednesday Worship Service will be held at 7:00 PM in the Gym. This year’s service will be more experiential, offering opportunities for reflection and engagement in the worship experience. Since this service will be more experiential in nature, it will not be livestreamed. We invite you to join us in person for this sacred time together.

Additionally, join our Pastors at noon in the Marcy Chapel for a come-and-go time of prayer and the imposition of ashes—an opportunity to pause and receive this sacred symbol during your day.
