Pastor David grew up in Chicago in a family of deep faith. He was active in church growing up. He earned a degree in biology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and felt called to ministry while serving as youth director at Silver Palm UMC in Homestead, FL. Pastor David attended Candler at Emory for his Masters in Divinity. He has served as Associate Pastor at FUMC Coral Gables, Senior Pastor at FUMC Gulfport, founding pastor of Hope UMC in Trinity and most recently at FUMC St Petersburg. His hobbies are running, reading and the beach. Pastor David has been married to Robyn for over 20 years & has 3 children.

Pastor Leah has served in ministry for over 12 years, leading as a youth director, children’s minister, and associate pastor. She and her husband graduated from Louisiana State University and later attended Candler School of Theology together. Leah is an Ordained Deacon and is passionate about Christian Formation and ministries with young people. Leah has been married to Peter for over 10 years and they have one daughter, Scarlett. They love playing games, watching movies, and taking walks with their dogs.

Pastor Rachel has been connected to the Florida Conference since ’04 (where she served at Warren Willis Camp). She graduated Florida Southern College in ’08 and Candler School of Theology at Emory University in ’11. In ’16, Pastor Rachel became an Ordained Full Elder with the Florida United Methodist Church. Rachel is married to Ryan who is also an ordained elder in the Florida United Methodist Conference. Throughout their marriage, their best times are playing with their 3 children and having adventures together as a family of five.

Pastor Philip has been a pastor for over 19 years, serving as a children’s pastor, an associate pastor, a co-pastor, and a lead pastor. He is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He has a passion for sharing the context of the Bible with all ages and helping people find their place in the story of God. Philip has been married to his wife, Stacey, for over 18 years, and they have one son, Elijah.
