When Helping Hurts offers a different framework for thinking about poverty and its alleviation. Rather than simply defining it as a lack of material things, this video series addresses the roots of the issue: broken relationships with God, self, others, and the rest of creation.

Join us for a 7-week small group experience led by Victoria Vaden, our Director of Community Service  & Outreach. Six weeks of study will include a video series, questions, and discussion. We will also spend one class session serving our community. The series is a powerful reminder of how to love each other, how to give and receive, and how to serve each other in a way that lifts everyone up, honoring our God-given dignity and respect.
