Family Promise with JMU Students
We welcome our Family Promise guests along with students from James Madison University’s Alternative Break Program. Our need for groceries and meals is doubled in order to serve both groups throughout the week. We also have Saturday day and night hosting opportunities available once our JMU guests depart.
Pantry Items – Jill Ciambella, Coordinator. Volunteers help stock the shelves with dry goods and food items for breakfast and lunch for the families. Food can be delivered to the 3rd Floor Family Life Center kitchen on or before the first Sunday of the Family Promise week. Please mark the items “FP or IHN” and place on the counter near the refrigerator.

Calling All Artists!
Trees and forests clean our air, protect our drinking water, create healthy communities and feed the human soul. On Sunday, Apr. 19 our vibrant family will observe both Earth Day and Arbor Day. We will celebrate trees and forests through art in recognition of the importance of caring for our planet. You are invited to submit a work of art (painting, collage, photograph, poem, etc.) focused on trees and forests. Art pieces will be displayed throughout campus on Sunday morning during worship services. To participate, please sign up by filling out the form below and email it to Rev. Gary Rideout at [email protected].
