Buddy Break is Coming to FUMCWP!

Wonderfully Made is excited to expand our work with Nathaniel’s Hope by bringing Buddy Break to FUMCWP! Buddy Break is a respite program that provides children with special needs a safe, welcoming place to have fun and build connections while giving parents and caregivers a much-needed break.

There are two ways to be part of Buddy Break, and no prior experience is required:

Want to volunteer? Join us for this Volunteer Training on August 16 to prepare for our first Buddy Break. Training is required to volunteer and all are welcome to join this opportunity. Note that you will need to register for the August 30 Buddy Break separately. Lunch will be provided for this training!

Could your family benefit from Buddy Break? Families in our church community who have a child with special needs are warmly invited to register their child for our August 30 Buddy Break. While children enjoy a fun and welcoming experience with trained volunteers, parents and caregivers can enjoy a few hours of respite. Please reach out to wonderfullymade@fumcwp.org so we can hold a spot for your child!
