Our new mid-week Family Time for all ages!
It’s an evening of fun, faith and friendship that offers nourishment and nurture for everyone.
The evening kicks off with a home cooked meal, followed by opportunities for study, music, dance and fellowship. Bring your family and friends – it’s a fun and enlightening evening.
Before Dinner Activities
Pre K Dance Class (Ages 3-4)
Introduction to dance, musicality, and creative movement. Must be 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2017.
Cost: $12.50 per class
Music and Praise for Kids (Pre K – 5th)
Music and Praise for Kids provides a fun environment for our children to share themselves musically. Weekly rehearsal provides multiple learning experiences including exploratory instrumental playing, singing, movement, and storytelling.
Wednesday Night Live Christmas Dinner and Program
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 5:15-6:15, MFLC Gym
Come and enjoy our Christmas dinner of baked ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots and rolls. At 6pm we will have a performance by music and dance ministries. Please bring your favorite Christmas dessert for our potluck dessert table. You can bring it with you or drop it off at the MFLC kitchen anytime on the 13th.
Registration closes on Monday the 11th at 5:00pm.
After Dinner Family Time Events
Hand Chimes (Grade 3-5)
This group is open to children grades third through fifth and is open to all levels of musicianship. During weekly rehearsals, children will learn to play the chimes, read music and how to work as a team. This group will play in worship as well as perform in the Christmas Program in December. Rehearsal begins on August 23 and weekly attendance is required. No registration is necessary. Attend on August 23 to join the group.

Student Handbells (Grade 6-8)
This group is open to students grades sixth through eighth. Experience in reading music is suggested but not required. During weekly rehearsals, students will learn to play the hand bells and perfect their music and ensemble skills. This group will play in worship as well as perform in the Christmas Program in December. Rehearsal begins on August 23 and weekly attendance is required. No registration is necessary. Attend on August 23 to join the group.

Nursery (Ages 0-Pre K)
Parents must be participating in a class on campus.
Multi-Level Yoga (Adults & Mature High School Students)
6:00pm-6:45pm, MFLC 319
This class is part of the Mindful Living Yoga series. The class includes techniques to soothe the mind by using the breath; physical postures to improve flexibility and strength; deep relaxation and Biblical Meditation to find inner peace. This class is a Yoga Flow class which combines the benefits of yoga with Essential Oils, Prayer and Christian Devotion.

Dance in Worship (Grades K-3)
Teaching dancers performance and dance technique for dance in worship. Eligibility – Must be registered in one ballet class
Cost: $12.50 per class
Kidz Zone (Grades K-5)
Various age appropriate activities led each week and supervised free play. Parents must be participating in a class on campus.
Parenting class – Calm Parenting University
6:00pm-6:45pm, MFLC Gym
This series will study practical, concrete strategies for parents with toddlers, tweens and teens to stop the meltdowns, defiance, yelling, lying, anger, and the most challenging behaviors you face. No registration necessary.
Adult Bible Study
6:00pm-6:45pm, MFCL 205
Join us for a time of study, scripture and community. If this is your very first Bible study or you have done many, this is a great way to grow in your faith. No registration necessary.
Young Adult Bible Study (Ministry of Kinfolk)
6:30-7:30pm, Upstairs Sanctuary (Co-Working/Shared Space)
This study is for any young adult interested in learning more about the Word of God and how it applies to our lives today. We will begin a study of the book of Ephesians. You won’t want to miss this deep dive into Paul’s letter from prison, which tells us who we are in Christ, how God targeted us for His grace, and describes our unity as a church.
